ARTSEARCH TM

If you've been shopping around online, then you already know just how many websites are selling Art, so how do you decide,
"Which online Art store is the real deal?"

Since we've been Framing Art for over 20 years, we're the experts on this subject. To help you make the best decision, we offer you the most important factors to consider.

1. Reputable Company with a History of Framing Art - People who have had a bad experience often report it online and customers who have had a positive experience will share it too (either by posting it or by sending a personal review to the website).  Do a quick check up on the company and be sure that there are no significant negative reviews.

2. Available Contact Information - always buy Art from a site that displays their phone number, their address (which should be within your continent) and their email address. You might even call the phone number and send an email before you order anything. Any website that does not reveal this information is hiding something.

3. Value - Read the specific details of the artwork. Are you buying a poster or artwork without a frame on it? Are you buying artwork that will have canvas, glass or acrylic on it? Check the size of the artwork. It often looks much bigger online than on your walls. Don't let the high price fool you. Also, check the frame (if there is one). The width should be clearly marked. Most companies sell skimpy little frames at a fairly high price. Value means that you will get exactly what you thought you were getting, which is exactly what you wanted and at the price it was offered.

4. Comparison - Before you buy, be sure you are getting the best price. Every smart shopper has to do a little comparison shopping. Most sites have "Search" bars at the top. Simply type in the name of the artwork that you are considering and it should be easy to see if you're getting a great deal. Remember, you must compare apples to apples: check the frame size (how wide is it, is there even a frame or are you buying stretched canvas, which has only stretcher bars behind it, but no actual frame around it) and check the overall dimension (which should be clearly indicated). This is important too, since you must have a wall in mind that you intend to hang your artwork. Lastly, check how the artwork is finished. Canvas is the most expensive, acrylic is less expensive and glass should never be offered, because it may not even get to you without breaking.

5. Secure Checkout and Customer Support - you want to be sure that you are giving your credit card to a shopping site that has a secure check out. This is the safest method for you. However, If you are not comfortable with this process, then contact Customer Support who will handle your order over the phone. Once you place your order, you should receive a confirmation shortly thereafter, followed by an email that includes the name of the courier and the tracking number.

We believe that these 5 steps are the most important ones you should keep in mind, when choosing an online Art store.
